Purpose of Service
Work Solutions is currently working to advance employment opportunities through a part-time (16-18) Intermediate Labour Market (ILM).
The ILM offers Lone Parents and people in receipt of Incapacity Benefit or Employment Support Allowance (ESA) an opportunity to take the first step back to work in a supported environment, by funding the first 13 weeks of employment. |

How does the the ILM Project work?
- Work Solutions will find supportive employers who are willing to support people back in to work.
- We aim to ensure there is a permanent role at the end of the 13 weeks for the right person.
- Access to CV Workshops
- The opportunity to attend Interview Techniques Training Sessions to help you secure the right job
- We work closely with Pathways and Lone Parent Advisers to match clients to job opportunities, Training Courses and Job Specific Training to up-skill where necessary. These training courses can include, basic food hygiene, health and safety and manual handling.
- Information, Advice and Guidance from friendly qualified staff.
- At the end of the 13 weeks, the clients should have a good grasp of the role and the employer should feel confident in offering the client a permanent contact.

What is the Eligibility Criteria?
In order for clients to access the Intermediate Labour Market (ILM) service you must meet the criteria below:
16-65
Unemployed Resident residing in Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Ahston Under Lyne, Leigh, Wigan or Stockport
Claiming Incapacity Benefit (IB) or
Claiming Income Support (IS) with Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or
Lone Parent
